We’ve been hard at work, and we’re excited to share some key moments from our 2024 Impact Report, highlighting everything we’ve achieved together in the last year.From empowering young Latino filmmakers at LALIFF to hosting bicoastal networking mixers, this report shares the steps we've made toward ensuring more representation, diversity, and inclusivity in the media industry. 

Here are just a few highlights:

• Over 150 new members joined our community in 2024, showing continued demand for spaces where women and nonbinary filmmakers can connect, learn, and grow.

• 25+ educational resources were shared with our members, from grants and funding opportunities to exclusive workshops on navigating the industry.

• Major announcement!! We’ve officially trademarked our name! This marks an important milestone for The Light Leaks and secures our commitment to building a sustainable and impactful future.
