Glow Up Attendees

Hi there!Thanks for coming out Saturday night to Glow Up! That was the Light Leaks' 4th event ever and seeing a packed house was incredible. Whether or not you knew us before the event or just showed up by word on the street, thank you for coming out and supporting female and gender non conforming filmmakers.

A little about us:

The Light Leaks was started by Latina filmmaker, 

Kim Hoyos

. in Feb 2017 out of her junior year dorm room. It's a company and editorial website for the education, empowerment, and support of female and gender non conforming filmmakers. The Light Leaks is run by one very caffeinated 23 year old and her loving support network.

Through the editorial site featuring interviews with creatives who have ~made it~ in the industry, spotlights on rising filmmakers, career advice, and personal narratives as well as offline events (like the one you attended) we've cultivated a community of diverse creators who care about inclusion (and each other).
