As 2022 year comes to an end, the Light Leaks community has much to celebrate - a grant that allows us to continue growing our business, a reimagined tiktok channel, and more! Take a look back at this year with TLL.

🖤 Netflix’s new hit show ‘Wednesday’ has becomea hit and Latina lead, Jenna Ortega hopes that the popularity of the show will pave the way for more meaningful conversations on Latinx representation in Hollywood.
However, It’s also important to note the current criticism of director Tim Burton’s portrayal of Black characters on the show.
James Cameron’s long awaited ‘Avatar’ sequel, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, has amassed $134 million at the box office, and nearly $400 million worldwide, despite drawing criticism from indigenous organizations for cultural appropriation and white savior tropes.
