• As a teen photographer, 🌟Lauren Tepfer 🌟was shooting branded campaigns, capturing attention with her signature suburban photos and distinct color palette. She was one of TLL’s first interviewees way back in 2017 as she explained her process. Fast forward to the present, Lauren is on tour with Lorde, capturing the Solar Power tour in the USA and abroad. Congrats Lauren, we love you!

• The Cannes Film Festival had a future of cinema panel without any women or nonbinary folks, no seats at the table I guess. 

• The Black community calls on the Cannes Film Festival to do better in regards to diversity via new campaign.

• Need help securing equipment for your next big project? Panavision has a huge equipment grant available for new and emerging filmmakers; make sure to fill this out at least two months before your locked in shoot date.

• LA Filmmakers! Ever heard of the 48-hour Film Challenge? This film contest starts in August, so sign up a team of creatives now and get ready for a chance to have your film screened at Filmapalooza 2023…and maybe even Cannes Film Festival!

• Have a great idea/planned proposal for a documentary on historically underrepresented communities? Sundance Institute is willing to fund it! Apply to the Sundance Documentary Film Fund before June 6th- available for both American and international film projects!

• Are you a Latinx screenwriter or aspiring filmmaker? McDonalds has launched a multi-year program to bring your vision to life! Make sure to apply by June 3rd.
