BIG news! We’re looking for more creatives from our community to join our volunteer team. 🎬 Being part of TLL is a way to support this creative community AND also pitch ideas, build your portfolio, lead on projects, and work as part of a team. Team volunteers work across the Light Leaks' newsletter, social media, website, online shop, and small business strategy.

💻 Are you interested? We’re seeking multiple people to join in on each of the following areas:

• Graphic design

• Video editing

• Editorial / Newsletter

• Research / Fact-checking 

Volunteer work is of a maximum of ~5 hours a week, with a monthly team meeting and check-ins via slack, and work can be done on your schedule!  Each applicant must be 18+ and US-based. This is an unpaid commitment, however, students can receive college credit. 

⭐ Since being created TLL has⭐

• published 30+ interviews and 40+ think pieces written by woman and GNC filmmakers

• hosted 10+ events online and off including across 5 different states

• been republished by BUST Magazine and Issa Rae Productions and featured in by People en Español Magazine

We’ve seen folks we’ve featured on TLL go on to enter screenwriting contests and win, get staffed on shows, successfully crowdfund for shorts, work incredible internships, and more.With more folks on our team, we can keep growing our impact of helping rising female and nonbinary creators reach their full potential.
